Why We Built EU Car Auctions

It started with a cluttered inbox
EU Car Auctions began the way a lot of good ideas do — out of frustration. We're a small group of salvage vehicle enthusiasts. Some of us rebuild crashed cars as a hobby, some flip them, and some just love the hunt for a good deal on a second-hand vehicle. What we all had in common was the amount of time we were losing to the search itself. If you've ever tried to track down auctions for salvage or used cars across Europe, you know the routine. Lots of small sites split between countries, each with its own layout and its own way of listing vehicles. On some you can configure email alerts, on others you can't. And plenty have no notification system at all — or it doesn't work properly — so the only way to catch a new listing is to visit and check for yourself, over and over. One place to watch them all
So instead of wasting time on manual browsing, we decided to build a better solution. That's what EU Car Auctions is. The platform brings all the salvage and non-salvage auction listings from European auction sites together in one location. You search once. You find the second-hand vehicles that match what you're after — or set up a search agent to scan the listings daily, so you get told when something relevant appears. That way you can spend your time on the part that's actually fun: evaluating the car, planning the rebuild or making the buy.
What we do and what we don't
We want to be clear about this, because it matters. We don't host auctions ourselves. EU Car Auctions is not an auction house, and we're not the seller. Think of us as the layer on top — the place that gathers listings and helps you keep track of them across the many platforms where cars are actually being sold. What we can do is help once you've found the car. Buying a salvage or second-hand vehicle from another country can get complicated fast: the purchase process, the paperwork, the logistics of getting the car from where it is to where you are. If you need a hand with any of that, we're happy to help. It's exactly the kind of thing we've had to figure out ourselves over the years, and it's a lot easier with someone who's done it before.
