How to Use EU Car Auctions
Finding and following car auctions on EU Car Auctions takes only a few minutes. Here's how to search, register and keep an eye on the vehicles you are interested in.
Browsing and searching
You can browse the site without an account. Open the home page and click the search bar to open the auctions section, and you'll see live listings pulled from auction sources across Europe — each showing the year, mileage, fuel type, transmission, current price and how much time is left until the auction ends.
To narrow things down, filter by what matters to you, such as brand, model or location, and the list updates to show only the vehicles that fit.
Click any listing to open its full details page. Here you'll see which auction site the car is listed on, its current price, when the auction ends and the full specifications — from year and mileage to VIN, fuel type and transmission. We also list vehicles similar to your search criteria that you might be interested in.
One thing to know: you can't bid on EU Car Auctions itself. We gather and display the listings, but the bidding happens on the original auction site. When you're ready to place a bid, use the View Auction link to jump straight to the source and bid there. We'll cover how to participate on each auction site in an upcoming post.
Creating an account
Browsing is free, but registering unlocks the features that save you time, like keeping a history of auctions and setting alerts.
To sign up, click Sign in at the top of the page, then choose Sign up at the bottom of the form. You can register with your Google account or any other email. If you ever forget your password, the login form has a "Forgot your password?" link that walks you through resetting it.
Following auctions and setting alerts
Once you're logged in, you can save any auction to your followed auctions by clicking the heart icon next to it. The auction is saved and we'll send you a notification email before it ends, so you won't miss it. You can see all your followed auctions by clicking the heart icon next to your username in the top right corner.
Better still, set an alert. Tell the platform which models and parameters you're after and it does the monitoring for you across all the auction sites, showing whether any auctions matching your criteria are currently active.
If you activate email notifications, every morning the system goes through the full inventory of new auctions and sends you a single email listing every match for the models you've set up. So instead of checking tens of sites yourself every day, you get one tidy summary of exactly the cars you are interested in.
